About Library
The central Library of PDEA Mamasaheb Mohol college Paud Road Pune was established in the year 1984 .A t the begning the collection was 450 , since then the library has consistent growth in terms of Books, Periodicals, Services and E-Resources.
VISION
To achieve and evolve as a center of excellence and collegial vitality, and seeks to create valuable relationship with various Departments: faculty, staff and students.
-To integrate current Library and Information Technologies and to fulfill the teaching Mission by developing collections and various services which are flexible to the needs of students.
MISSION
To bring students and information/Knowledge together by focusing on---
-Information and Knowledge resources, services and provides various facilities that facilitate, inspires and encourages the Mamasaheb Mohol college students, Faculties and Staff.
PURPOSE
Is to support college mission and vission and to provide information resources and Library services to foster comunication between Libraries and clientel.
OBJECTIVES.
To develop reading habbits among students and staff
To develop co-operation and understanding among the members of Libraries.
To serve student, faculty and staff by providing resources and services.
To assist students in developing Library Information Literacy skills.
To encourage the use of Library materials and services for developing Information and Knowledge.
